Cumbria is a wonderful county in the far north west of England, shaped by its stunning natural beauty, its industrial strength and its vibrant communities. Our county has inspired artists, writers and musicians. The beautiful Lake District is located in the heart of Cumbria, but the county is so much more than just the Lake District. Its dramatic coast, towns and rural communities are also so very much the heart of Cumbria as are its many innovative businesses and extensive farming community.
